January 6, 2021, and the week of June 19, 2022 are the dates of two American Insurrections – one illegal, the other legal. The Supreme Court did what the violent insurrectionists sought to do, but could not do: convert the U.S. into a gun-toting, paternalistic christian nationalist theocracy. The Second Insurrection is still in process. The Court is, simply, recessed for the summer.
