Our internal American political dysfunctions make us weak on the world stage. In the 1950s, politics stopped "at the water's edge" (the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans). Now, we watch as the leadership of a major political party (Fox News) openly sides with our enemy, Putin -- the world's most dangerous man. All of this makes Putin even more dangerous. Internal divisions have done what armies could not do: disunite the United States.
